Applicable to the 2026/27 Academic Year
1. Policy Overview
If you are denied a visa and, as a result, are unable to enter the United Kingdom to take up your university degree, you may be eligible to cancel your booking without obligation under the contract, subject to the conditions set out in this policy.
2. Eligibility
This policy applies where:
- Your visa application has been formally refused; and
- As a direct result of that refusal, you are unable to enter the UK to commence your studies.
3. Evidence Requirements
To qualify for cancellation under this policy:
3.1 Evidence of visa refusal must be provided in the form of an official refusal letter or correspondence from the relevant visa authority.
3.2 The required documentation must be sent to Now Student Living within 72 hours of the date shown on the refusal letter or official correspondence.
3.3 Documentation must be received by Now Student Living within 72 hours of you receiving the correspondence from the visa control authority.
3.4 All documentation must be emailed to the email address for the residence you have booked, as stated in your booking confirmation email.
4. Verification and Outcome
4.1 All documentation provided will be reviewed and verified by Now Student Living.
4.2 Where the documentation is accepted:
- Your tenancy agreement will be cancelled without penalty; and
- Any deposit or advance rent paid will be refunded in full.
5. General
This policy forms part of Now Student Living’s booking and tenancy framework.
Now Student Living reserves the right to verify all documentation submitted in connection with this policy.
