These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern participation in the Now Student Living Content Creator Programme (“Programme”) and form a binding agreement between Now Student Living (“we”, “us”, “our”) and the applicant or participant (“you”, “your”, “Contributor”).

By applying for and participating in the Programme, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Application and Enrolment

1.1 To be considered for the Programme, applicants must submit a sample of content representative of the type of content they are capable of producing. This sample must demonstrate originality, creativity, and typical style.

1.2 Acceptance into the Programme is at the sole discretion of Now Student Living, and we reserve the right to accept or reject any application without providing a reason.

2. Content Submission and Review

2.1 Once enrolled, Contributors may submit original content for review. All content must be created solely by the Contributor and must not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights.

2.2 Now Student Living reserves the right to determine whether submitted content is suitable for use. Content that is deemed inappropriate, low quality, misleading, or inconsistent with brand values may be rejected.

2.3 There is no obligation on Now Student Living to use, publish, or pay for any submitted content.

3. Content Standards and Guidelines

3.1 All submitted content must:

  • Be original and created exclusively by the Contributor;
  • Not contain offensive, discriminatory, defamatory, or unlawful material;
  • Be respectful of individuals, groups, and communities;
  • Not include third-party trademarks, music, copyrighted materials, or branding without explicit written permission.

3.2 Now Student Living may provide additional creative direction or brand guidelines from time to time, which Contributors agree to follow when creating content.

4. Social Sharing and Tagging (Optional)

4.1 Contributors are not required to post content on their personal social media accounts in order to participate in the Programme or receive payment.

4.2 Where a Contributor chooses to share approved content publicly, they are encouraged (but not required) to:

  • Tag Now Student Living on relevant platforms (e.g. Instagram, TikTok); and
  • Add Now Student Living as a collaborator where the platform functionality allows.

4.3 By posting approved content and tagging Now Student Living, the Contributor grants permission for Now Student Living to engage with, repost, or reshare that content across its own channels.

5. Ownership and Usage Rights

5.1 Upon payment for approved content, full and exclusive ownership of that content transfers to Now Student Living.

5.2 Now Student Living will have the perpetual, worldwide, irrevocable, and royalty-free right to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, and distribute the content across all media formats, including but not limited to:

  • Organic social media channels;
  • Paid advertising (including Meta, Google, TikTok, Snapchat, and similar platforms);
  • Websites and blogs;
  • Email marketing;
  • Print and offline marketing materials.

5.3 The Contributor waives all moral rights in the content to the extent permitted by law upon transfer of ownership.

6. Payment Terms

6.1 Payment will be made for each approved piece of content in the form of a £20 Amazon gift card, sent to the email address provided by the Contributor.

6.2 Payment will be issued only after the content has been reviewed, approved, and ownership has transferred to Now Student Living.

6.3 While the earning potential under the Programme is uncapped, payment is not guaranteed for every submission and remains subject to individual approval.

7. Programme Duration and Termination

7.1 Now Student Living reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Programme at any time, without notice or liability.

7.2 Termination of the Programme will not affect any rights already granted to Now Student Living in respect of content that has been approved and paid for prior to termination.

8. Data Protection (UK GDPR)

8.1 Personal data provided by Contributors (including name, email address, and social media handles) will be processed lawfully and solely for the purposes of administering the Programme, in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR).

8.2 Personal data will not be shared with third parties without consent, unless required by law.

8.3 Contributors may request access to or deletion of their personal data at any time by contacting Now Student Living at [insert contact email].

8.4 Participation in the Programme constitutes consent to the processing of personal data in accordance with Now Student Living’s privacy policy.

9. General

9.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

9.2 Now Student Living shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from participation in the Programme.

9.3 Participation in the Programme constitutes full acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
